Whether you are a private landlord who is letting their property for the first time, or an experienced investor with a large portfolio, we are able to offer you a premium lettings service.

We currently let and manage a portfolio of over 600 residential and commercial properties throughout the East Midlands from studio apartments to large country homes. We pride ourselves in our pro-active approach to letting and managing your property and have specialist members of staff on hand to guide you through the lettings process.

Lettings And Management Team

Overseeing the Lettings and Management department is Darren Moore with over 20 years management experience working in various sectors. Our property managers are Catherine Andalo who has been part of the Bentons team for 10 years and Alfie Brown who has been with Bentons for just over a year. Robyn Antcliffe who is our Lettings Negotiator and Charlotte Bailey assists the team as weekend letting receptionist. The Accounts and Finance team includes Jody Cox and Heidi Woods.

Fees

TENANT FEES  
Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019 before the tenancy starts the following are payable: -  
Holding Deposit: 1 weeks' rent
Deposit: 5 weeks' rent (annual rents up to £50,000)
Initial monthly rent
During the tenancy the tenant(s) are responsible for the rent, all utilities, telephone and internet connections and their relevant subscriptions, television licence and Council Tax.  

 

Under the new legislation, permitted payments will also include, but are not limited to, damage as outlined in the Tenancy Agreement, reasonable costs incurred due to loss of keys and security devices, reasonable costs incurred by breach of tenancy by the tenant(s), reasonable costs incurred by the landlord due to early termination of the tenancy, any changes to the Tenancy Agreement (£50 inclusive of VAT), interest at 3% for late payment of rent as determined by the Tenant Fees act 2019.
